Other Ranges
Current Peaks listed for the Other Ranges
There are 13 other ranges in the state that have not been included in the range list. These include: Gore Range, Medicine Bow Mountains, Flat Tops, Rabbit Ears Range, Park Range, White River Plateau, Grand Mesa, Laramie Mountains, Uncompahgre Plateau, Ute Mountain, Northwestern Colorado, Raton Mesa, and the Unita Ranges. In order to include peaks from these mountains we have categorized them in a separate category. Please list peaks from any of these ranges as “Other Ranges” rather than specifically naming the range. This is not to mitigate peaks from these ranges. A peak is a peak, wherever it is located. And it is for this very purpose that the “Other Ranges” category has been created. |
